Installed VMax ported throttle body and threw code P0113

I have a CAI intake, apex scoop, and today installed a vmax ported TB. A few minutes later, I threw a code and checked it (I can check it will my dashhawk, just can't clear it...): P0113 - (IAT) Sensor Circuit High Input.

I'm not exactly sure what this means, and frankly I'm looking for a way to clear it without taking everything off and going back to the dealer. Why would the ported TB have caused this? Thanks!

Was the MAF re-installed correctly? I know it's a stupid question, but just had to ask.

The IAT sensor is in the MAF. Check the connector for damaged or pushed pins. Maybe you just didn't get the connector seated all the way.

I checked and re-checked it and nothing seems damaged/no bent pins/is seated all the way in . I was planning on getting a good dyno tune in the next few weeks anyway and I'll have it cleared then, but is there a way to clear the code in the meantime without something like a newer dashhawk?

Buy this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Auto-ELM327-...item35c399c8f2

and then buy Torque (theres a free version but the pro version is worth the $5) on your smart phone. Connects through bluetooth and you can read/clear codes, check your cars diagnostics as its running, do 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times, 1/8 mile times, read your HP (not sure how accurate it is)

but for the 15 bucks its def worth it.

Yeah, please let me know. I was looking at the Dashboss which also uses an iphone app but they want $160 for the bluetooth OBDII part. This is obviously a MUCH better deal, if you can confirm that it works with the Torque app then I'll jump on it. Thanks!

I will verify if it works; It worked on my 2005 Cadillac CTS but I have not tried it on my SS yes as I have not needed it. Will report back soon.

Ok cool thank you. And the torque app picks it up (On the CTS at least?) without having to use the iphone app the company says to use?

To run Torque, you need an android device and Elm OBDII or something similar. There are other apps similar to torque for the iPhone but I do not know what they are called. I am sure you can do a google search for the Elm OBDII supporting apps.
