Custom Victory Red 2SS with black out by Car West Elite

Here are some photos of a project we just completed for Fremont Chevrolet. We have more planned for this car, but we only had 2 1/2 days to complete the first phase. The customer is taking delivery this weekend and after he enjoys it for a little bit, we will do a few more tricks.

Items we completed:

Black hood, black out front facia in grille area, custom fog lamps, black out rear tail lamp area and bezels, black out exhaust, powder coat black wheels, and red out bow ties.

On the agenda list:
Supercharger, different exhaust, upgraded suspension, and a few small items.

No offense the black hood doesn't do it for me. But to each his own

That looks like the LS7 concept, I love it. I'm undecided on the blacked out exhaust tips, but everything else looks great.

Not bad, I would have gone with the Flat Black only on the cowl portion maybe.

I definitely think you should black-out the section of the front spoiler under the lower grill, think it would flow better with the all black hood.

That is the perfect ass though

We are on the same page with the black out on the front bumper lower section. Even better than what you suggested, we are adding a black front spoiler when we get it back.

Thanks for the suggestion and complement.

Very nice. I have a VS 2SS/RS coming and have plans to do the same without the black hood. Got my idea from the LS7 concept Camaro I saw at the Dallas Car Show this year. Did you have the dealer paint the areas? How much did they charge if you do not mind me asking. Also did you consider having the black shark fin antenna painted the color of the car? I am currently waiting from a response from Dupont to see if the paint the dealer uses (Chorma Base Dupont) will interfer with the reception. Any thoughts. Car looks very nice.

All the black out we did was done with paint except the wheels were powder coated. Paint is the best way to go.

We have a powder coating company we use. I charge $600 for all 4. That includes mounting and balancing.

Thanks for the complement. We are only located in Northern CA. We are the shop that does the work for the dealers.

We think the same on this car with some of your ideas. We do plan on painting the antenna on the roof body color on future jobs. Many OEM antennas are painted body color, so it should not be an issue.

Yes but with the high end 3m vinyl it's almost as good. And it did kinda look like it. They did a great job I like it. Unique look to your ride.

The 3m Controltac 180Cv2-10 with comply adhesive and air holes is damn close to paint and can have millions of colors plus 5 year UV rating, for example.

I like the front and back blacked out, the hood and wheel not so much. If it comes with the LS7 could make an exception.

Not an LS7, but how about a supercharged LS3?

I don't like all black hood. It would look better with rally stripes.

Sorry, but add another meh.

I see too many ricers with black hoods and it's killed it.
