IPF Supercharger Kit

I have owned my kit for 2 months :
1) Replace your idler pulley bearings before you even install the kit, don't wait (make sure you get sealed bearings)
a) I have had my kit for 2 months less than 2500 miles and am replacing bad lower idler pulley bearings that according to the mechanic look rough (will be posting pictures soon.)

Added
NEVER EVER have anyone that hasn't installed an IPF kit even look at yours, it gets expensive.
Pictures to be up tomorrow of all 4 removed bearings

IPF upgraded the pulley bearing in 2013. I went with sealed ceramics Sycraft shows in post #17 in this thread.

If your IPF S/C kit was made prior to this, you may still need to upgrade. KPE should still offer some or Sycraft's Boca bearings have worked well for me.

This post got me thinking- I never did use those new bearings from IPF (total of 4, you press two into each pulley) or the new spacers that go with them.

They're the same ones I pictured in that linked thread. Any way if anyone is needing some now, drop me a PM and we'll make it happen.

Ok, mine was kit was made in 2015. Are there tell tale signs that the bearings may be going bad?

I have read that because of the close tolerances that this SC should not be started below 25 degrees F without a block heater or blanket. When using this kit on a daily driver, even though I'm in the South (Atlanta area), there is a likelihood of having cold days while the car is sitting at work. Is this setup really not a good idea for a daily in this situation or would starting the car and letting idle until warm be an okay way to go in freezing temps?

Running twin screw on my Mustang and never had a problem with 130,000 miles on it.
