Guy with a new black ZL1 in DFW area, WHO ARE YOU?!

While my SS was in the shop several weeks ago, I was driving a black RS down I-35 going south, I think a little past Lewisville. It was around 5 or 6 in the afternoon. I saw a black ZL1 with paper tags. I pulled up next to him. It was an older man driving, probably 50 or 60. I waved at him, as did my friend in the passenger seat. He waved back. He seemed super friendly. This is a shot in the dark, but I wonder if he is on here, and will read this...

I saw one this morning running down 287 but it was red. Sure hope it wasn't a member on here. Tried to wave, threw him a rev. Nothing. Guys like that give zl1 owners that bad rep...

I guess it's just me, but odds are unless I'm stopped at a light I'm going to be focused on traffic and driving and not worried about throwing you a wave just because you drive the same kind of car I do.

If we weren't cruising at 60ish and no traffic around, you might have a point, but we were and you don't.

Your right. At 60mph my priority is going to be waving at you because you drive the same kind of car I do.

People get bent bc people don't wave is so silly. Some people just don't care that you have the same car. Deal with it and move along.

If someone doesn't want to wave, fine, I get that. No problem there. But please don't act like its because they can't afford to take their hand off the wheel for half a second, you and I both know that's a bs excuse.

LOL then maybe he didn't want to wave

You shouldn't act like everybody that drives one is some sort of enthusiast. 315,587 camaros have been sold, NOT counting 2013. Not all of them care to wave at you.

I do feel earlier camaro owners were more camaro enthusiast and more of the recent purchases are not (does now represent everyone) I use to wave before (we had more camaro enthusiast) but not anymore

I guess it could be, but then I just like acknowledging all the other Camaro owners. Sometimes, I'll blink my lights too. Either way, when it's returned I'm ecstatic!! V6, V8, 5th Gen, I don't care, heck, I'm even happy when it's someone in a Yellow one!!!

Lol!
