Not sure what happened last time I tried to upload this pic, it never uploaded as an "attachment" before. Strange stuff going on this site last few days, sometimes it was shut down for hours.

Norma - he needs to make a set of these. I picked up the ramps at the local auto parts joint and then made the lift sections and the ramp extension all with spare lumber I had lying around as I'm sure your hubby has. They work great.

Nice job on the extensions and lifts, very good idea. We'll have to see what the ramps go for, I'll try eBay.

Those were like $400, I bought the hardware and bungies for less than $5. Just couldn't bring myself to spend that. That's good mod money.

Returning the JDP Colored Halo Kit today. In the mail it goes. OMG I wanted this setup so bad, but the install is too much for a novice. It's definitely the "look" I'm after, but the price to have it installed is sky high. So back on the "wish list" for now. If I hit the lotto for a couple grand I'd do it. But for a total of around $800 with shop time, it isn't in my financial range. Every shop I called estimated four hours, that plus the cost of the kit, forget it.

Budy needed his oil changed this weekend. Thought you might want to help loosen the plug.

I checked those out. Was my first pick, but after reading the install instructions, wow, it's not an easy install. Once you get to the headlight you have to bake it for 25/30 minutes in an oven. Yes, bake it, to soften up the plastic, and then you gotta go fast while it stays pliable. Do the install, re-seal, and hope it never leaks, then your ready to do the other light. The JDP kit I returned is also difficult, but you don't crack open the light, you use the existing openings. I give big credit to anybody who does this mod cause it ain't easy. Love the look! Wish I had the necessary skill or cash to pay for the install.

They do have a couple of great install videos, step by step, on YouTube for these demon eyes. I watched them and yeah it's kinda scary, but I just love the look! My only complaint is the small LED bulbs, wish it was a nice ring with no dots like the stock halos. Most of the colored halo rings are the same way, you crack the headlight in half, after baking, and mount their halo ring which is one color specific, and they all have the LED bulbs/dots. If somebody is going to do the color halos the JDP kit is the best, to install and for the looks. Phastek Performance will install the Demon Eyes. Ship them the headlights, they do the install, and ship them back. Don't remember the price, but it wasn't that bad, and yes you pay the shipping both ways. Also means no headlights for probably ten days or so. May come with a warranty as well.

I'm sorry to hear it didn't work out.Isn't the wait for this kit ridiculous?
I plan on doing this kit someday. I have too much powertrain stuff to tend to and I have to bump back the cosmetics.
