V6 Street Slayer???

Hi Guys,

As of late we have spoke to the guys at RPS quite a few times about the possibility of manufacturing a Twin Disc Clutch for the V6 Camaro's. Because of the great following and support we have received by everyone here at the Camaro5 Forum, we feel that this could be a very realistic possibility. Unfortunately, to take on this business venture, we would need to make about 25 of the kits in total and have about 10 - 15 committed customers before we begin production. Basically, the purpose of this thread is just to see how much demand there would be for a High-End Twin Disc Clutch for the V6 Camaro. Chances are, it will list somewhere in the $1,500 range. However, the clutch will be fully rebuildable for a cost much less than your initial purchase. Also, thanks to the large amount of surface on our Street Slayers, the clutch will last much longer than your average single disc. All of the features expected from a Street Slayer, such as stock-like drivability, factory smooth engagement, and extreme holding power, will certainly not be compromised.

If this sounds like something you are interested in, please feel free to post here and let us know. We would like to help bring this piece to the market. I just wanted to see how you guys feel about it. Thanks!

Subed. I'm looking for a twin disk. I want to see how the ram twin disk compares to this unit. The stock clutch is crap.

Assuming the new clutch will utilize a new lighter flywheel and not dual mass

Our owners say there is no comparison to the Street Slayer

It is? Mine's holding up fine behind my IPF S/C.

Camaros with Automatics transmissions don't have a clutch.
