Yep it's a very easy install. If you do a search on here, you can find a few threads with pics and tips. We are always happy to help if you run into a snag as well.

Best regards,

Very simple install. Simply but a line and slip the hose on. But another thing to be certain is that the drain valve is closed. You can check this by placing your finger on the drain and if you feel any suction then its open if not then your good.

The only time this has happened is when people hook up the lines backwards and even then there are very few people this has happened to. I wouldn't worry to much about it. Both the Elite and Rx come with instructions while they are not the best they will guide you through it. And you can post up a picture on the forum when your done for us to verify for an extra safety measure

O'Reilly's or any auto parts store. I had to go with blue hose the first go round because they didn't have black that day!!

A quick explanation is that it catches oil that could be ingested into your intake track. In the long run that oil that gets stuck in the intake can cause a decrease in both performance and efficiency. Simply Search the forum and you will find stacks of threads with a much longer and detailed explanation.

As seen in the photos above, the hose to buy is Power Steering return hose.

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...mString=search

This is about an easy install job as you get. There are plenty of threads in this V6 section if you do a search on Catch Can. Again the photos above are a huge help.

Lastly, the reason to install one of these on our DI engines is we do not have fuel going thru our intake manifold to mix with that oil and prevent the sludge from building up on our valves.

This photo shows how much my catch can caught at my last oil change of 3500 miles. Now imagine all that oil going thru your intake on onto the valves.

Prior to my CC install, I had a bit of oil coming thru the clean side into the intake tube (ahead of the throttle body). My TB was pretty dirty, too. Since my CC and breather install, I have taken the intake tube off once to check, and again when I installed my Roto-Fab intake, and both times it's been clean.

You can see the oil that came from the clean side into the intake tube in the first pic in this thread.

Another choice is Transmission Oil Cooler lines.

The size you want is 3/8 I.D.
