So, I pulled my RX catch can in favor of a Mike Norris can (got a good deal on a white painted one) I went a different route on the location....but I think it looks good.

No, I haven't seen any like that, that's why I did it and put pics to see if it will be ok, and I sent a message to mike Norris to see.

Hmmm... I'd think it should be vertical so during condensation, the crud gapps down into the collection can. Looks pretty cool though!

Maybe not, might have to move it, but I figure the oil would sit in the bottom and be fine, as the can never comes close to filling. I'll just move it if that's what Mike says to do.

It will probably work fine until it becomes half way full. Then (I think) it will be like blowing bubbles through a straw into a thick chocolate shake. This will put back pressure on the flow. That will probably be bad.

If someone can post a cutaway pic of the internals of a Mike Norris can we can provide a better answer.

My gut reaction is to put it vertical.

That's what I was thinking, so I would just ensure to empty every 1000 miles, I sent him a message so I'll see where I'm at.

it all depends on the internal design.

Ask Mike Norris directly if this is a supported configuration. If not, you should go vertical.

I think it's gonna have to go vertical though, and I'll need the additional bracket.

I'm guessing Mike is going to say you need to have it mounted vertically. It's like mounting your catch can upside down but not as bad.

Yea, its like mounting it sideways

I have to order the bracket, cause there is no where to put it vertically....thats kinda how this horizontal thing came into play lol.

Why do you have to order an additional bracket? Does the appropriate bracket to fit our Camaros not come with the can? Who did you buy it from?

I ordered an additional bracket because of where I wanted to mount it (specific place)

It comes with everything needed originally. I got mine from Ivan @ Southwest Speed. (Awesome to deal with)

Ok thanks...so it sounds like if we mount it in the "standard" location we should be fine. Mind posting pictures of where you ended up installing it vertical and with the new bracket?
