This is to GhostSS10 when in 2 weeks you dealer takes your $ and then tales you its coming in 2 weeks, know we warned you, There not done with testing the car, so there is no way they have a set price or will take orders in 2 weeks, look for info on all that to come out in late October, then to fallowed in 30-60 days with orders for dealers that get the cars to order ( PS most dealers will only get 2 cars. IMO ) then some time in the first 1/4 of 2014 cars will get built, then by spring they will get out to dealers and the end user.

Well, you are warning him, I simply ridiculed him and called his source a liar

This whole "my local podunk dealer salesman said blah blah" BS is so incredibly old I'm stunned anyone is still so naive enough to fall for it?

Where can I get some of that? I need to put some of it in my camping gear for when I go camping in the desert.

When your right your right, but this is a new beee so we need to cut them sum slack, and help them see the world for what it is, You know when i was in my 20's my dad you to say that "you dont know as much as i forgot" and as a 20 something i laughed at that, today i fund myself saying that more and more.

I hope i am off and we can order a car in 20 day's but i know its not true, have been on the list for over a year, at the best dealer in the country, and if she does not have any new info i think no one does.

I'm thinking it's closer to the dealer taking placeholders in line at their dealership to be on the waiting list. That's my story and I'm sticking to that.

Right on. The OP does sound like a nice guy, just young and innocent. We were all there at some point. 1 week, 6 days until we know

I stopped reading after I saw that, no offense to OP...but if a Camaro Z/28 is your impression of the baddest car on the planet....

I agree it will be bad ass (especially in black), but badd-est? ehhh that's gotta go to something a little more exotic

The OP didn't say it, I did and I have no regrets about what I said. Baddest car on the planet is definitely subject to interpretation and in my opinion I'm sticking with my statement. There's no other car I would rather have.

Calling out a poster for unsubstantiated and highly questionable rumor posting is seeking accountability. And doing it lightheartedly and with humor is even better.

It's almost Friday, why not go enjoy an early cocktail or some fine BC scenery and relax?

He announced the first order of a Z/28, and then stood behind the assertion in several more posts. That is an amazing claim subject to amazing butt-busting if wrong. If I post something so earth shaking, I fully expect to have my balls publicly busted if wrong. You are not in school anymore, don't expect grading on a curve. Should I feel bad because he was gullible/lied to/naive? Wrong. It's a good life lesson. We've all had them and hopefully are better men because of the experiences.

Maybe he will come follow-up post and let us know what can be learned from this?

Folks seem quick to criticize when online. You have to remember that you are not really having a "conversation" with a particular person on a forum. Conversations face to face usually vary dramatically from identical online chatter.

Ain't that the truth. Then again for the OPs sake he wouldn't have announced this in person. Everyone wants there 2secs of fame. Let the thread die as mentioned previously.
