Really? I've read things on here about people snapping axles etc. with near-stock setups. I wouldn't think some of the stock components would be able to handle that kind of torque...

Assuming since you have a 1LS then you have a manual, which means you have an SS Differential and LSD. Our Transmissions are rather durable and if not seriously abused than can take a beating. Suspension really is your next option, other than gears (in drivetrain sense)

well what i meant is that you don't have to do anything to install the kit. a lot depends on how you drive it

Hp turbine, do you have any video of this. Or dyno sheets. I can't afford this kit, saving for a house with a baby on the way, but I REALLY want to see this thing in action or hear the engine.

I want this. 2013 1LS here...

Need new clutch, brakes, suspension? It's my dd so wouldn't be pushing it hard regularly. What about install price estimate?

Sweet kit. If I had an lfx I would've jumped on this. Too bad also there's not one for the LLT.

X2 will this fit on my 2LT 45th Anniversary Convertible? The extra bracing underneath might be an issue?

It's not just the underneath bracing, need to make sure the inter cooler fits up front where there is also extra bracing. I had to do some mods to the brace to get the inter cooler in on my IPF SC on my vert.

well this thread is talking about the LFX engine, so can you tell us if it could fit a 2012 convertible?

The kit was built for a LFX engine (coupe). As nutbutt said, he had to modify the front mounts for the intercooler on a IPF kit. So there may be a fitment issue, I don't know what is behind the fascia on the vert, but I'm sure it would be easily resolvable if there is a problem.

so anyone has a video with this beautiful upgrade installed yet ?? or at least a dyno sheet to see if it can play with an SS ??? My goal is to reach mid 400's RWHP and looking at this kit it looks like it could be possible.
