Removing vinyl dealer stickers from car?
Can anybody give me some tips on how to safely remove the vinyl dealer stickers on my trunk lid. Although my dealer gave me a good deal, it wasn't good enough for me to drive around advertising for them. Thanks.

Blow dryer to soften the glue. Then peel.

If its a new car you should be able to lift a corner with your fingernail and just peel it off. That's how I have done my last 3 new cars.
If its been on there a while you may need to go the blow dryer route.

Blow dryer and goo gone but use a clean soft cloth and rub easy. Will come off but don't want to scratch the clear.

Yep the 80 grit worked like a charm....no really, just went to garage and it pealed right off, a little goo gone to remove the residue, and I'm done. Easier than i thought. Thanks for the tips.

Yeah, and the cheap plastic license plate frame with the dealers name and salesmans name plastered all over it, blows. Ordered a nice custom anodized frame that should arrive in a few days. Thanks again.

The real key with goo gone is patience...soak it down, go drink 2-3 beers and come back in 30-40 min...it almost falls off...then clean and rewax...
