I'm liking how the Borlas sound...sporty, and not ridiculously raspy, just how it should be

I'm sorry, but this is definitely not my 'cup of tea'.
Sounds more like an import car.

Like what you've done with the wheels though.

I too would like to know what it is that you've done and what you used. I'm going to be looking to put an exhaust on mine and my mechanic was impressed with your video when I showed him and asked what it is you are using as he helps research for me.

Hi Guys,

I wrote to Borla about their new Cat backs for V6 Camaro. They told me you should expect 12-15 hp increase/ 8-10 ft lbs of torque.

But no data is still on GMPP hp gains, which is really weird !!

Hi - I had an axel-back addition of Borla Pro XS mufflers added to my V6 Camaro too. I posted some sample clips for you to see/hear. When it's sitting in the garage...the rattle you hear at the end of the last two gas presses...is the 2nd garage door vibrating.

Sounds sweet. Something else for me to consider.

Have you seen any dyno numbers? I see alot about MRT and Flowmasters, but almost nothing about Borla. I also wonder what their catback sounds like.

I'll bet, but I think that is apples and oranges. It isn't hard to make a hemi sound good.

yeah, you couldnt be more right about that, the ol' Hemi sure sounded sweeet, that's why i was really worried and didnt plan to anything to my v6 Camaro, didnt want it sounding like a Boat/chainsaw/weedeater..ya know..But after listening to many clips on th Flowmaster kit, i desided to give it a try, and couldnt be happier. To me, its the most v8ish sounding exhaust. Very pleased with it.

I spoke with a tech at Borla today, told him I had added BBK Long tube headers to my 2011 V6 Camaro, he didn't even know they made long tube headers for the V6....Anyways I was asking abuout the PRO XS series, its a universal fit muffler, you need to measure your stock and figure out location of the tubes before you order and you should run the 2" outlets...

I also have the BBK headers and used the Borla ProXS mufflers:

I don't think you'll need a resonated X with the borla ProXS mufflers unless you have lt headers. The borla ProXS mufflers are already medium muffled so no drone/rasp issues.

Cheapest way would be to custom fit only the ProXS mufflers. Otherwise I would go with the axleback. Check member digitalshow clip - just perfect IMO. I have the exact same setup but with BBK lt headers. So mine has more growl and is louder.

If the rest of his system is the stock size then I believe these are the mufflers he is using because the stock system is 2.25" if I am not mistaken.

Can you toss me the part numbers and additional information for your set up, Im interested in the mufflers but I have this little voice telling me to get headers for it too.

Would love to hear yours if at all possible.
