Spyder Auto Dual CCFL Halo/Projector

Today I received my black Spyder Auto Dual Halo CCFL lights. Monday I put them in. I will post a before and after pic soon. I know I looked for a long time for a bolt in kit without the need for sweating open the headlamp, due to lack of wanting to put my lights in an oven. Bought on Amazon for around 300$usd and got here before the wife realized I bought. The craftsmanship is there but as alot of previously read threads state, the inverter is cost efficient. Simple directions included (I recommend youtube for a DIY vid if you wish to DIY) SOOOOOO heres to a good begin to my build and hope someone benefits from the equipment I will show. I may plasti-dip my wheels also but time must allow.

Yup! ... I would look at replacing the inverters with similar ones from Oracle. Did a search and the inverters are a common problem with this headlights. People have had success with inverters from Oracle. Just give them a call and tell them what you need, they will do the rest. Im getting tired of mine going out and Im at the point to suck up the loss and go back to the factory headlamps.

If you want to see the ones i have click on my link

honestly....cost efficiency, I work for amazon so I get a small discount. and having the ccfl setup now I hope allows for colored single or dual ccfl when spyder comes out with those upgrades. too bad they don't make fog lights tho

I had the same lights installed in my 2010. I pulled them out when I got my 2013. I have not installed them in the 2013 yet. I never had a problem with the inverters. I did wire my different though. Their inverters are dual in. What I did was bought an extra set. I only ran one halo per inverter. I tied the inner halos into the fogs. I bought a second set of inverters to wire up the outer halos a different way. I never got around to it though. So you can run four inverters rather then two. It should take a little of the load off them. If I don't install them I will sell them with four inverters rather then two.

I was running them for years or so. Never had a problem. Before i did it I even talked to the people over at Spyder. They weren't to helpful but did give me the info on where to buy the ones they use. If I can find the info I'll post it. If you want, if and when I install them in my new car I'll let you know how I setup the 2nd set of halos.

Car looks great! I also have these and I haven't had a problem. I bought a set of the Oracle inverters but I have not used them since the stock inverters haven't gone bad on me.

Sorry for the late reply. I forgot all about this thread. These are the dual inverters that Spyder said they use and to order. http://www.suntekstore.com/goods-140...alo_rings.html

Looks good. This is my next mod after I install my fogs next week but I don't plan to get them until XMas. It'd be a gift to myself.
