I see bowtie included with painted. Is that preinstalled? Don't need it or want the bowtie but would like prepainted.

Does the GM Heritage Grill provide the option of reattaching our stock Bowtie and SS emblems on it? If so, do you provide the hardware and instructions for it?

on the painted version it is pre installed from the factory and removing it is not recomended as it often leaves markes on the inner veins

Patrick,

If I am understanding this, the painted grill comes with a bowtie attached and it should not be removed? The painted grills that I have seen have the middle portion of the grill black and the painted portion is the outer edge?

Thanks,

David

The outter section is the only part painted and the center unpainted but from GM they pre install the bowtie on only the painted ones

Is the pre-installed bowtie on these painted Heritage grills the exact same size/shape as the one on our stock grills?

it depends on if it painted or not as the painted ones come in a bigger box. If you add it to your cart on the website it will calculate the shipping

it is very similar but looks different since it is smooth as opposed to grained like the stock one

I'm a bit confused about the pre-painted deal. Sorry. I have a black Camaro and love the look of the Heritage grille vs. stock. I would prefer to not have a Chevy emblem. If I would like to buy it and install (without having it painted) what should I do?

Sorry to double post, but this are the painted ones actually different colors on the grille itself or is the the little body colored parts on the edges? Does that makes sense? If I get unpainted I suppose the entire thing (including the edges) will be flat black?

Okay... so $202 gets me the flat black top grille. What about a matching lower thing? This is my current, and all of the heritage grille pics have a matching lower grille.

The "matching" lower grill your seeing is probably the SS one.

They both look fine just the SS has a different stock lower grille than the V6

Heritage Grille with V6 lower grille

Heritage Grille with SS bottom grille
