Sunroof weight/bracing?

I'm in the market for a gen5 camaro and was wondering if anyone knew how much weight the sunroof option added.

Also, does the addition of the sunroof call for any extra chassis bracing from the factory?

Are sunroof camaros more prone to flex? Any drag racers or autocrossers had any problems with them breaking or leaking after hard launches/hard cornering?

No but you may have dimples in your roof around the sunroof

The only problem I had was fitting in there with the helmet on. Had to lean the seat way back. I'm 5'11".

Don,t know about added weight and i have not seen any signs of dimples from flexing on hard launches with well over 100 running high 10s low 11s

Does the sunroof decrease headroom? I've rented 2 V6 Gen5s- one with and one without the sunroof. I'm stupid tall, so I'm used to every car being tight...but I did not notice a difference in the 2? Maybe I just wasn't paying attention...

The frame (if that's the right term) of the sunroof is lower than the headliner, and the frame goes right over the driver's head. It will touch your head when you go over a decent bump in the road without the helmet being on.

I purposely looked for a non-sunroof car because I was pretty sure that a helmet would be hitting it. I'm 6 feet tall. Even in my non-sunroof car I put the seat a little lower or will have contact with the headliner.

I've got no problems with my sunroof at all. 6' tall here and I fit by a mile with my helmet on...but I'm leg tall, when I sit next to shorter people my face is at their height.
