Dupicolor Caliper Paint Awesome!!!

i painted my calipers Red with Dupicolor from advance auto two months ago and it is still holding strong. here is a pic. just figured i would post if anybody was on the fence about doing this. now the Chevrolet and Brembo logos are high temp caliper decals from ebay. u can get them in any color and they are durable. i have washed them every week with a pressure washer at the car was place and it still looks great. the only thing you cant do is spray break cleaner on it bc the paint will come off, learn from my mistake lol it sucked. but for best results sand the caliper after cleaning with warm wated and then clean the sanding off and paint. if you spray too much and it starts to run all i did was spray more that instant and made the run go all the way down the caliper until it drips off, that way you cant see the run in the paint. let me know what yall think.

did you completely remove the caliper, or just taped off surrounding area?

i put a white trash bag around the rotor and taped it off with blue painters tape.

Once dried and decal applied, do a quick light mist with clear coat over the decal to seal the label from dirt and brake dust:

I've used it in the past (red, silver, and black) on numerous vehicles. It will fade over time, and very likely will also chip and peel. How badly will depend on how well you prepped the surface.
