Headlight Question
Hi All,
See this thread for reference -- http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=289958 I decided after a while of dealing with random issues with the aftermarket headlights and after dealing with some terrible customer service from the customs shop that I had my headlights put in at, I decided to put my stock headlights back in. The guy at the shop replaced my stock headlights but I requested that I still had some sort of HID headlight in there. After one week, I've got one headlight out again. My question is this-- Is there an easy way to tell (without taking it to the shop) if my headlight is burned out already, or if it's the ballast? I still have the stock bulbs that came with the car, would I be able to just throw those in there for a while to see? Or would he have changed something in my headlight for those to be in there? Forgive my stupidity, I've tried searching before posting, I promise! Thanks!

Swap the bulbs from driver to passenger. If the problem moves, bad bulb, if not, bad ballast

I would check to make sure you have good power and ground though before moving parts around. Check the simple and easy first.
