So who has the cheapest price on new cloth headrests. Since my headrests have the stoc engraved SS I will need blanks.

I posted this over in the topic about dying the threads in your seats, armrest, and steering wheel with the fabric dye pens.

For you golfers out there, some of the guys in my golf discussion forum use to bleach out the logo threads in their Scotty Cameron putter covers.

They would use bleach and soak the threads using a Q-Tip or a rag and Clorox. Bleaching the threads turned them white (obviously) and they could then dye the threads any color they wanted with Sharpies or the FabricColor pins.

So, if you wanted to change your SS in the headrest to any color you wanted, bleach them out for a clean slate and color away!

Here's a thread about it.....

http://bit.ly/lXCriT

CAUTION! I have not tried this on my SS headcovers and likely will not. I am not guranteeing that this will work. However, if there are some of you ordering new headrests just to change the color of your SS, you may as well try and bleach the headrests you have first and color them in. Fabric dye pins are $3.00 and bleach is $1.00.

You could call them using skype. It would only cost a few cents that way.

I just called Pam at the embroidery place, nice lady. I don't have a RS so I can't benefit from the existing digitized file. I want to do a custom design. Pam said to email her with the design to tell me if it's possible. It should be. Drawing it up now!

So, bandier... do you have Pam's email address? Maybe you could PM it to Forza? (See post #508 above).

It only took about a week to get them back from the day she got them. She actually did the work in less than 3 days, but then it took 3 days for them to get back to me via UPS Ground.

I haven't seen anyone here have a problem. Have any of you had the headrests not come out well?

Got mine in today, finally got them reinstalled- a workout for sure!

They're done in a blue to compliment the blue rally stripes painted on the car

Yes, I am extremely pleased. I painted and sent a sample card in the same color as my stripes so that Pam could match... and it is spot on!
