Let me confirm with my mechanic.
Thanks

Mike, I had another thought about why your car has a new issue with snap oversteer. Any chance that the alignment may be off, with the new set up? Maybe they didn't properly torque the fasteners and it moved? I remember reading the Motor Trend Viper Vs. ZR1 review, where the Viper was very difficult on the track. They found out later that the alignment was way off. When they returned to the track with the alignment corrected, it drove like a vastly improved car and shaved seconds off of it's lap time.

Sycraft is correct.
My mechanic did not have to widen the strut hole to 12mm. The 1LE kit has the right fit. My mistake. Sorry.

I also wondered if maybe some part of the new components came loose. I do not have much suspension experience, but it seemed to make some sense. I find this thread very interesting.

Mike, can you confirm with your mechanic how he attached the rear sway bar links to your lower control arms? There is apparently a difference between the 2010-11 and '12 and newer lower control arms where the rear sway bar links attach. This is why some people are telling me I need newer model lower control arms. What is pictured in the kit photo are the newer toe links. Thanks.

I've read that too, well, it could be. I need more track time to determine that first. I will bring the car back to the shop to make sure all the bolts are tight and verify if all is good. I will be back at the track the last tuesday of august. Im leaving for vacation for 2 weeks now! I'm heading to the ST-Madeleine Islands of in the St-Lawrence Gulf.

Well He didn't mentionned anything about it. There was no fuzz about anything. He told me all went smooth and the parts fitted very well.
Sorry, I don't have more info about it.

Mike, one suggestion on the rear sway bar. Pedders told me that the change to the rear sway bar in 2012 was significant in improving the handling. You may want to confirm that there is absolutely no difference between your rear swaybar connection and a 2013 1LE. If there is a difference, I would strongly suggest looking into swapping parts to make it exactly like the 1LE. This really is a magic suspension combo, you're gonna love it when you get it dialed in.

the rear sway connection the LCA'a is in a hole in the outboard portion of the LCA, the 2012 has it, the 2010 and 2011 must be changed.

In the GM performance catalog they "mention" the tire/wheel setup of the 1LE below the 1LE track pack upgrade.

Reading this it makes me feel like they are trying to push you down the path of a tire/wheel change to obtain the full benefits.
