All-season or Winter tires?

So I'm going to be using my camaro as my daily driver and right now ive got the stock pirelli's on the car. I live in ann arbor, mi, and the winter is relatively bad (lived most of my life in miami,fl so its pretty bad for me).

so should i go with winter tires and keep my current tires as the summer set or go for all-season and sell my current tires (4400 mi on them)?

im looking to spend no more than $1000

any suggestions are appreciated

Your better off with a winter set. I know I do, and the added safety should make that decision a no brainier.

Since you're RWD and it's an awesome car, I'd definitely go with the winter tires!

Nothing is as good as a winter tire in the snow. A dedicated set of snow tires is always the best choice when possible.
