Maggie = Weeping rear seal.

Too much crankcase pressure. Getting oil spots on my floor after I walk on it during a cruise.

I took the pvc hose off at the blower snout and tried to suck on it. Could barely pull anything. No way that could keep up to crank case pressure under boost.

I took the barb out of the rear drivers valve cover (LS3) and drilled it out to 5/16".

I also removed the check valve from my RX catch can. I just sawed the bottom 1/8" off the fitting where the lip is that holds the check ball in. The valve falls out and then you have to pull the spring out with needle nose pliers.

Now I'm getting some flow through there and no more oil spots on my floor. And it runs perfectly as there is no extra unmetered air (like running a breather) going through. I highly recommend this mod.

that's odd I had to add a check valve to my Norris can to keep from sucking oil out of the catch can

Are you sure? How could that work? A one way valve is just that.

Dual catch cans ftw...or none at all if your car runs clean.

I'm a huge fan of dual vented catch cans. The AGP kit comes standard with them and I'm converting over. I have a RX monster can but it just can't move enough air.

If the Maggie snout port is never pressurized, there should not be the need for a check valve in the exhaust port of the catch can in the first place.

This. There have been people reporting issues with the valve sticking too. It's a cheapo plastic ball.

I was detailing my engine bay yesterday and discovered that the maggie is now weeping oil. Looks like the rear gear case. This sucks. Looks like I'll have to pull it off and send it away.

Sucks to have to pull it. I went with no catch can and had no problems (10psi). I had close to 40k on the motor before the S/C and intake was clean. I'm not really getting the whole catch can thing.
