Not Coke and Miller lite. That's why I wanted to see the slip. Maybe they changed them. Ignoring my question just looks bad.

Robs towing sponsors the left lane, PC Richard the right. Not sure where this dude dug up this slip from but it explains why he disappeared.

Yup, was hoping to hear more about this 70% reduction in IAT's.

Maybe he was shooting the meth in his arm and not the intake.

My iat's dropped a significant amount. In the 130's before the dual nozzle setup and since the lowest I have seen was 26 degrees. I have a aeroforce gauge ready to be installed so I plan to make some pulls and see how they are doing. Meth works basically.

Methanol on a Maggie and a centri are two completely differently animals. While it works well on a centri the results aren't all that impressive with the maggie. I don't understand why people feel the need to compare apples with oranges.

I don't believe anyone said that meth didn't work. The results vary for each individual application.

my car made 640-545 to wheels about 4 months ago. i'm with Jamie i'm a low hp car that runs I guess pretty good. 10.29.135 has run plenty of 136mph slips.

Yup ^^^^. Spraying pre blower is not nearly as effective (as far as IAT goes), which would be the application with Maggie.

Meth on a maggie will basically keep the iat's steady and keep them from reaching the crazy 170+* temps they can produce . It wont cool as well as a centri (dropping 30-50*), but it is effective
If you want constant lower iat's install a chiller....

Again, if it is tuned and installed properly there will be no issues. You cant just throw a meth kit on a boosted motor and not adjust the tune for it

Chiller is on the way .. I'm looking forward to see what it can do.

Again..... if there's little change in the IAT's using meth with a Maggie, how do you tune for it safely? That's kinda what this thread is about. What meth does with centri's and turbo's isn't really relevant to this thread. Meth is great. Centri's and turbo's are great. No disputing that. But, the question, regarding meth with Maggie, remains....

the problem I have with that video is yes it shows the meth cooling the intake pipe no doubt. but on a maggie the inlet air is compressed after the blower so basically the meth is cooling the intake charge but the effects are not that great because it is being heated again after going in the blower and the charge gets compressed .and you loose the misting effect of the meth. it will still help with octane but cooling not so much . I am a meth user and swear by it but I also have a centri

That's my intake in the video and I agree you will not get as much cooling with the Maggie as with a Centri nor will you see the BIG increase in HP numbers but what I did see with it was on a nice HOT south Louisiana day it consistantly kept my IAT's down under 120F by the end of the 1/4 running 12psi boost. With that I didn't start loosing any HP on the big end and I see that as a gain.
