Engine swap is under way

The engine swap is under way. Pulled the 402 Out of the Camaro and am in the process of installing it into the 72 K5 Blazer. Soon the Camaro is going to have a 500 horse 427 resting under the hood.

I can't either, but I just figure it's because I'm on a DoD computer. They won't let me look at hardly anything.

Bingo! All pix are good now. Can't wait to see and hear of the progress on the Camaro. She's going to be a monster w/ that 427 under the hood! And...wasn't that 427 originally yours?

I'm curious having never done an engine swap myself...i'm sure I could do it, if I could figure out how to get the engine out of the freaking car! What is the most common way people do that?

Engine swaps are tough if you haven't done it before. My brother is somewhat mechanically inclined and pulled the engine out of his Toyota all by himself (WHILE IN HIGH SCHOOL) with the help of a book. He broke it down and took the damaged parts to a shop where they were rebuilt. You can do it. It just takes time and determination...

Sorry. Not trying to highjack the thread.
