Does anyone think it needs the black strips? My friends say no. I would like to see the same car with black strips before deciding. My wife agrees the vert is very quite. I don't think she will give me trouble getting a pair. With the solo system did it fit with the cross bracing on the vert?

I like it without stripes. Solo makes a catback specifically for the convertible that clears all the cross bracing. What about a CAI and VMAX tb first for some real hp gains and some noise under wot?

Here are two no drone systems for the vert. JDP performance has great pricing on the Magnaflows. Talk to Tyler. Solo is factory direct.

or the Magnaflow street series

My chevy dealer won't install anything aftermarket. Are they going to warranty it also?

No. Since I didn't buy it from them. They sell Borla only. They had to get special permission from his boss to install it

The Solo is a much better choice. I am going to install Solo Hi-Flow cats in two weeks into my stock exhaust system for extra power and volume. The catback gives you very little to no hp gains, but, the sound, the nicer looking tips, getting rid of the butterrfly valves and the big muffler cans for a clean look is worth it. Again, be sure to get a CAI as it really wakes up the car and it is something you can do yourself. 10-15rwhp. Have fun with the vert. I know you will.

Not a fan of convertibles, but I'll admit she looks nice.

CAI can be refer to as a cold air intake or a brand of a cold air intake, Cold Air Inductions.

People seem to interchange them around here.

Very very nice, I hated the look of the 2014 at first but after seeing a few in person and all the pictures they really grew on me and I like them more then my 2012 style now! For sure a great looking car, I know you'll get people yelling at you trying to get your attention to ask questions or comment about it with that top down
