Mini Tub?

Anyone here has done a mini tub on their 5th gen yet? Why, you might ask. I will be getting some 22x12s or 22x11s made by Intro and want a 6 to 8" rear wheel lip. Just wondering if anyone has BIG LIPPED wheels with or without a mini tub. Thanks in advanced.

My d2forged cv2 were 4.5 inch lip in the rear with a concave with an 11.5 rim. I am now running a 12 inch rim no issues but its a 20 with a 315 slight stretch tire

To get a bigger lip than this you have to get wheels that curve in my opinion it just doesn't look right. Front lip is 3.5 and rear lip is 4.5. These are 22x11.5 and 22x9.5

Those look hella sweet. But what I would like is a flat lip with a flat face look. Concave is a nice looking wheel but mini tubing is more of an option for the bigger lip.

To get that kind of lip you will need negative offsets, the 22x14 that I ordered for my truck is a -76mm offset, and it had an 8.5" lip. IMO, it would be a stupid amount of work to make your car have that look, not to mention it doesn't belong on this car.

Not usually a huge fan of big wheels, but in this case.....

Those look sick.

Ive drooled over Seddon's car since before I had my 5th gen. I feel the same way about big wheels, except on his.

I got the wheels covered Intro can make them to my specs. I had a 24x10 with a 7" lip on a truck. and narrowed rear end. It is what I'm into bigger rear lips IMO its belongs to any car.
