Had eagles before. Poor quality castings. Would often work loose and one cracked with little impact

Worked loose? Like off the wheel studs? Wobble?
It cracked?? How fast were you going? And what style rim was it?
Now that gives me second thoughts

I had Eagle Alloys on my truck years back and really liked them. I upped the size and got American Racing wheels and honestly I thought the Eagles were of higher quality. Not discounting what happend to flyinlow89, I think that's a risk with all cast wheels of that price bracket.I like the looks of them though.

Eagle wheels have always been cheap knock offs, they tend to be heavy, bend or crack easy and a lot of times don't balance very well. There is a reason there cheap.

Just remember when making bigger purchases, Good stuff is never cheap and cheap stuff is never good. My dad always told me that and after awhile I learned.
Now if you don't have high expectations, go for it.

I understand there a cheap Brand. But are they THAT cheap? Have you yourself had experience with them? Have you had a set the cracked or bend on you?
Im going with large tires (45s) so im hoping they wont damage.
I cant find any reviews about them.
The weight of the rim is a concern to me, are they heavy? There aluminum right?
People pay top dollar for BBS just for the BRAND. Im just going with these because of the situation i got myself in

I had Eagle Alloys on my truck back in the day. They were chrome though, started chipping pretty early on.

They're cheap for a reason.
