I agree. I really like that splitter. Wish it wasn't so damn expensive.

Ready for the bearing replacement and install of the gauges.
Bearing replacement? Must've missed where you discussed that before.

And you have to get it painted lol but it looks so similar to the dusk splitter (which costs like 750$)

And correct, the bearings in the IPF idler pulleys have failed some people. So IPF sent everybody with a SC kit free upgraded bearings to replace ours.

be careful with those hex sockets, make sure they are hardened, if they are soft you may damage the screws holding everything together.

Thanks for the tip, Im pretty sure they won't round off the screws. The allen wrenches from craftsman worked flawlessly when i installed them.

So after talking to Dan and Andy @ IPF I finally figured the set up of my new Elite catch can.

Going to add the 1LE separator, route that line to the SC inlet and then route the fresh line to the exit port on the Elite can.

Then route the dirty line to the inlet, and route the intake manifold line to the other exit port with a check valve.

You got it Noe, I'm hoping this will be more effective. IPF can works but like others, I want the best set up (in my mind) for my car.

Bumblebee's Getting IPF Boosted!

So you are running the drivers side rear connection to vacuum/exit side of the catch can ?
Interesting to see how this deals with the vapor issue in the stock IPF setup.

Yes, just need to get a fitting from elite without a check valve , since I only have one.

When I looked at my IPF cc I ran a .017 feeler gauge where the gasket was to seal the unit. Replaced the gaskets with RTV. That took care of that vacuum leak. too bad the system is completely off.
