18" Corvette Wheels.....

Well, I think I'm going to end up keeping my Forgestar 20" CF10's. I was planning on getting another set of 17" Welds (sold my 1st set....bad decision!) if my CF10's sold, but I guess that's not in the cards right now.

So....I happened to run across this ebay auction the other day, and ended up getting (1) 18x9.5 +40 Corvette ZR1 replica wheel for a pretty good deal. Wasn't sure if this was the route I was going to take. But after receiving the wheel today, I think I will get some M/T ET Streets (305/45R18) and call these my drag wheels!!! The wheel weighs 26 lbs., certainly not a "lightweight" contender, but not as heavy as I was expecting either. These are the "Sport Muscle" ZR wheels that Tirerack sells, but I think this Hyper Silver finish is pretty scarce these days. Now I just have to buy one more....and I know just where I can get one for a pretty fair price.

I think there are a couple different manufacturer's of the replicas, but the wheels I bought were by "Sport Muscle". You can google "Sport Muscle ZR" and get a few hits.

FYI: ZL1 rear calipers are the exact same as SS and SS/1LE. Only diff is paint color and logo.
