Going to 15" Slicks any suggestions?
As the thread says I am going to 15" Slicks any suggestions regarding brake conversion and what rims/tire manufacturers have good product/prices, or anyone selling theirs?
Thanks Allan |

If you can get Rich the brake info he can try and build you 15's. That's what we have discussed. I thinks it's either IPS or you can get everything from BMR. Good luck. Ill be doing this soon as well. |

My point is that these radials are way better than any slicks but if your determined to run slicks I have a basically brand new set of Hoosiers full slicks that I will sell you cheap.

Our BMR 15" wheel brake and suspension setup sounds like it would be just what you would need. Our BMR brake conversion package (BCP001) comes with the all Wilwood components that are custom packaged to allow for fitment of 15" wheels. Along the brake stuff you will need our BMR drag race suspension package (DRP007). We worked with Weld Racing to insure that our products would work perfectly together. Here is a link to the Weld Racing application guide that will provide you with the part numbers for the wheels that will work for your application:
Weld Racing application guide BMR 15" wheel brake conversion package (BCP001) BMR 15" wheel drag race suspension kit (DRP007) We have run both the a Mickey Thompson 28"X10.5" stiff side-walled slick and the Mickey Thompson 275 pro radial on our shop car and they have both worked well for us. What I can tell you though is that at this past Camaro Fest we had the American Racing Headers Camaro ran a 8.56 @ 157.78mph on that Mickey Thompson 275 pro drag radial so they definitely work very well on a well prepped track. Slicks for tracks that don't do much prep. 28x10.5 stiffs like Kyle said.
