18 in DRs for sure. But practicing the launch is going to give you more gain than anything else you can do.

^^^^ What he said!!! But jeez, for having a cai, cam, and headers, I sure would hope for better RWHP numbers than 420?!?!? I don't know, I'm certainly no expert, that just seems a little low to me. Who tuned it? The 373 gears will help a little, but definitely get rid of the 20" stock wheels/tires. Go with 18's or even 17's (if your budget can handle it). And some rear suspension mods would also help. But as previously mentioned....practice, practice, practice!!!

Lots of seat time needed here. That 60' need a lotta work. Even on street tires, good 60' times can be had with practice.

I have all BMR upgrades to rear suspension with BFG tires at 32lbs. All nannies off and have launched at 2000 to 4000. I either smoke the tires or wheel hop. I have had a lot practice but I am still missing something. Maybe go to automatic trans. Thanks for all advise. Tried slipping clutch same result.

Well, sounds like you got the suspension covered. My best 60' on 20" Continental DWS "all-seasons" was 2.03 (Manual LS3). I would think you should be able to beat my time with the tires you have. I've got lots of suspension mods, but very little experience and I realize I need better tires and a LOT more practice. The only advice I could give is drop down to 17" or 18" drag radials and see what happens. Line lock is good for the burn out, but that's about it.

I would not even bother with tires right now, your 60ft needs allot of work.

18" DR's would nice. But agreed with others that you will need more seat time.
From the looks of those 60' times... i would say you are either spinning of the line or bogging to the point where your car is shutting off. It does take a good amount of seat time to master launching any car. So the more trips to the track the better. Best advice i can give by looking at those times are try taking off like you are taking off aggressively from a red light. Doing that will net you a better 60' time right there.

Getting a good set of 18" wheels and drag radials would definitely make it quite a bit easier to launch your Camaro because those 20" stock wheels and tires are not helping you at all. Honestly no matter what tires you run it is going to be a challenge to launch the car and do it consistently. Another thing that is just as important as the tires is going to be practice. The more seat time you have at the track the better you will be at launching the car and the better your times will be. You have the suspension to be able to do it you just need the tires and the practice.
