New Color "Deep Magenta Metallic"?

Just got back from the IAA in Frankfurt (International Car Show) and the European 2014 Camaro catalog lists "Deep Magenta Metallic"!

Didn't know this color exists on the Camaro

Cheers

I've seen that color on a 2014 Sonic, and on Chevy's build site I don't see it as an option.

I've also seen a color on a 2014 Impala LTZ not shown on the website, called "Spice Red Metallic".
It looks absolutely great. Yes, that is what is on the sticker....

It's not really pink.

I think it's a color for the 2014 Silverado.

Pretty sure it's for Sonics only in North America.

Call that a limited edition color and people will be all over it. Think Furious Fuchsia Challenger. If they'd had that on the '13s, I woulda bought it.

Yes, in case of a Challenger I would have loved the furious fuchsia as well!

Let's wait for the first deep magenta Camaro

Cheers

Spark has Techno Pink, and it's a much different color than Deep Magenta.

Spice Red is the same as Red Rock. Same paint code, different name. Like Night Race Blue/Berlin Blue/Blue Ray.

Hey man, sorry to thread jack a little but does the EU 2014 Camaro get the awful 14 tail lights? I always liked the LED tail lights that yall had for the 2010-13.

Been a while since I've seen one, but I doubt it. It's a lot like CRM, you almost have to see the two side-by-side to differentiate (the local dealer happens to have two, sitting side-by-side). Spice/Red Rock has some orange in it by comparison.

I'm surprised they have three reds, but then GM almost always has a weird color selection - usually it's pretty bland though. Out of 8 or 9 choices on a platform, it usually seems like 5 or 6 of them are black, white, or something in-between.

EDIT - nope, not the same. It was WA507G, the new one is WA138X.
