Haha no shit. I'll just blame Nathan lol. I started doing this since I'm having converter/tranny problems so I put performance mods on hold till that is solved.

Hey guys, I know I was talking about a 402 replacing the 416, but I figured that if I changed my mind again it would be funny. I just picked up an ls7 block. Came out of an Champion Motors 1140rwhp c6 vette, so anyone that says these blocks can't handle power doesn't know my tuner... Much to my satisfaction it already has ARP main studs!

Should have heads and block painted this weekend. Also headers coated and wrapped. These underhood intakes tend to suck a lot of hot air from the header under WOT so hopefully I can keep temps down. I've got a couple of really cool ideas that I saw used on the new era performance super car that I will be looking to employ. More to come...

Things slowed down brutally over the past few months, however there are still small things happening. Painted the intake manifold. Waiting to finalize the motor plan. Hope to have more updates soon.

Pistons have arrived. I know I change the plan for this car like I change my underwear, but this is the last change for the short block. FI is too expensive an option for right now, but I wanted something unique so I am fitting a factory Ls7 block with a 4.125 scat stroker crank, and these beautiful 4.130 -2cc pistons from wiseco. Ls3 heads will be reused for the time being with a thick gasket to bring overall compression to 11.5:1. Eventually the top end will see an aftermarket casting and a solid roller setup, but the $$$ isn't there just yet.

Heater hoses are finished. Had my stock water pump tapped for NPT fittings. I've got -16 AN weld bungs for the upper and lower rad hose that will also be recreated in black braided. Mishimoto rad on the way that will have fittings as well. A huge order of ARP arrived yesterday. 12pt stainless everywhere. Need to pick up the nick Williams 102 and send it off along with my valve covers to be powder coated black. Will be re running fuel lines bulkheaded through the strut tower to clean things up and keep everything away from the headers. Big stuff ahead. Waiting on the all clear on some used oliver billet con-rods and then I can begin assembling the short block. I'll update with a ton of pics soon!!

I posted this in the Clutter thread but wanted to have it here as well. I ordered a set of 3000 series fittings from these guys: http://motorsports.jiffy-tite.com

no drip quick disconnect for fluid applications. Doing the fuel supply line over in braided stainless and I'll be running a -6an 45deg bulkhead fitting out of the strut tower to these so the manifold can be removed without draining the rails. Also moves the fuel lines away from the header so that awful heat shield can be removed. Obviously brake lines have to be relocated as well, but as I've deleted ABS and will be using a prop block to bias I have a clean slate. Machine shop has given me the all clear on the used parts so I'll have a 441ci forged short block by the end of the week. I'm hoping to spray a 100-150 on top of an aggressive cam. We shall see where we end up. More to come soon!

Plenty of earls fittings arrived today. TO ALL YOU LUCKY PEOPLE LIVING SOUTH OF THE BORDER: EVERYTHING IS DIFFICULT TO ACQUIRE IN CANADA AND TWICE THE PRICE!! it's getting annoying to find all the parts I order are back ordered, but alas the trend continues. I'm waiting on -16 45 degree fittings to come so I can plumb the radiator. Fuel rail fittings arrived today, less a male jiffy tite plug end so I can't route that any more. The answer I got from motorstate was "we might order them again this year.." So there is no stock... Here's a teaser.

Also took the plunge for the brake plumbing. I've done away with ABS as we all know, but recently decided on this 2 into 3 proportioning block from SSBC. Along with a full set of Russell -3AN fittings. The front brakes will be 90 degree bulkheaded through the strut towers on each side. I have yet to design the rear system. I might tie into the stock lines to save cost, but it will be -3AN braided from the engine bay to some sort of T-fitting or -3AN block to 3/8-24. NATHAN!! I WANT THAT BILLET MASTER FLANGE!!!!!
