Problems with transmission in auto ZL1

I was curious if anyone else is having or heard of the following problem.

I have a 2013 auto with 13000 miles. Lately, when under low acceleration, the shift from 2nd to 3rd ( approximately 21 mph) shifts in hard and the car surges. Then when at a constant speed behind traffic the rpms will go from around 1000 to 1250 causing the car to surge again repeatively. It seems to be getting a little worse and I have an appointment tomorrow to have it looked at. This happens in both drive and sport, by the way. If I accelerate at 1/4 throttle or more up to the speed limit it seems to shift fine.

Any thoughts as to what the problem might be? Thanks in advance.

I get a brake like jerk in sport mode when using the throttle to decelerate on rare occasion but nothing on a regular basis. It hasn't occurred in drive. I just thought maybe the computer hiccupped.

Do you have an aftermarket or modified throttle body?

Strange...this is a common problem with ported throttle bodies. Since your stock, to the dealer.

Just got back from dealer. They duplicated all symptoms and are at a loss as to what it could be. They told me they needed time with the car and to bring it back on Monday. The "best" part is they will give me a rental Chey Cruze while mine is down. FML. LOL

Could be loose intake pipe connector bands allowing air leak?

Take notes on the miles as you drop the car at the dealer

Well , I see it this way

Hey I was there , there and there .

Very sorry to hear about the shifting concerns although it's pleasing to know that you're taking it in for a diagnosis. If additional assistance is needed, please contact me privately and keep us updated.

He updates you then you forward your search results of modifications post to his dealership to warn them so they look for an excuse to not cover his repair bill under the cars warranty.
