I waited 5 months for the g8 driving a white 91 honda, I think I can wait a year waiting for a Camaro, driving a black G8 Gt. .

Welcome to our ranks you've found the best Gen V Camaro site on the net. We won't tell

I haven't driven a G8 but styling wise it's never really going to turn heads on the roads.

Not like the maro will but I believe pontiac did a good job with the G8 styling.

Nice, the G8 GT is one of my favorite cars, especially in black. I wanted one of those before I saw the Camaro production pictures.

Late WELCOME!!! I think a G8 GT is my second choice if for some reason I can't obtain the Camaro I'm looking for. I need to go for a test drive in one of those babies.

Wife and I picked up a white G8 GT a few months ago. We both love it, and it will be the car we drive while we are in Germany. When we get back to the states, the G8 will be hers and I will be getting my Camaro.

I just drove one this weekend and i have to tell u DONT DO IT LOL j/k you will want one. I fell in love with it if for some reason i cant find one by march/early april the G8 GT will be my next ride unless GM does some more incitives on the full size trucks, i drove a 08 Crew Cab 4x4 GMC and loved it also, the truck was 35,000 and could be bought for 28,000 so needless to say if the prices keep coming down ill be looking into a Allterrain GMC or LTZ.

Congrats on coming over to the two-door side.

All I had to do was sit in one and I fell in love with it, then proceeded to tell my mom about how awesome it was and how she should totally get me one for my birthday.

Needless to say, she dragged me out of the dealership after that.

Umm.. How old are you? ^

The G8 that I drove was a great car. I think the styling is good. Subtle and somewhat sophisticated. The Camaro has other intentions styling wise. And right now, that is my preference. Plus, I'm a coupe kinda guy. I think a coupe says something right off the bat about the owner. More interested in style than practicality. Style and performance. That describes me somewhat.

Hahaha. I'm 16. I'll be 17 in a month. No, I'm not some 30 year old that still lives with his mom.

The best part about the G8 for me was the interior. Everything was laid out extremely well, from the gauge cluster to the center stack to the center console. I didn't even mind the out of place oil temp/battery gauges on top of the center stack.

Wait... if you're sixteen, how is it that you owned a car in 1989? Were you even alive then? Or are the cars in your sig cars your family has owned?

Family cars. At the forum I copied/pasted my original sig from, there wasn't enough room to put "Mom's van" or "Dad's car," so I just decided to screw it and leave it as is.

But the Camaro will definitely be my car.

Which is stupid IMO. They could've easily just redesigned the gauges or put the screen to better use. The '09 Commodore just got redesigned gauges and it looks all right up there.

Here's the '09 Commodore's gauges.

I didn't mind the storage space, but I just felt as if they took the easy way out. People complained, so they just got rid of the feature. They could've easily improved it as shown above.

After owning SEVERAL Japanese vehicles, and ALMOST buying a BMW 135i, I will get a 2010 Camaro SS/RS LS3. If I needed more room I would get the G8 GXP Manual coming out soon. BUT I don't need the extra 2 doors.

I have read MANY GREAT reviews about the G8 GT and the CTS.

WAY TO GO GM. CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT SPRING.
