Hey guys if you book a room at Baymont, make sure you tell them that the rate is cheaper online: Link to room

I had booked a room over the phone for three nights, May 1st through 3rd, checkout the 4th. at a rate of $99.99 per night...BUT then I checked online...the online deal for Baymont is $71.99 per night if you stay three nights. Even if you only stay two nights, the online deal is still $76.49 per night...

Just make sure you know before you book it for an 20 extra bucks per night.

^^^^This is why I said check the online rates first. Those rates will go up as the hotel fills but our block will remain the same.

Good info on the rates and such.

I will repeat: Take a look at the rates I've listed and then book online to get a better rate. If it's not lower online then make the call and hopefully our block isn't sold out.

I would hope Camaro owners are smart enough to get back to their respective parking lots before they get drunk, but there's always one. These lots are walking distance from each other and our crowd will be everywhere so book your Caravan groups in the same hotel.

Houston does some huge street meets and this will be no different. Cars and Coffee with over 1000 cars will be early Saturday morning and a lot of those folks will make it out to our event as well.

So basically no drinking for me. Half a beer and I am over and I have a self made rule, no driving the Camaro with any alcohol in my system.

Good rule... and if you've been to previous fests you'll know there's plenty of time for drinking when you get back to your hotel.
