Umm why post this in the V6 forum, that model is for the V8. Just got a email from James tonight from Hennessey stating that they just got the customers V6 car on Friday and will be testing it this week.

Without a modification to the programming in the PCM, the CAI modification will produce no tangible results, I've been told. Thoughts on that?

The PCM learns the new airflow from the sensor attached to the CAI. No programming necessary...

Fastest Camaro on Earth? I'd be careful with my wording! Saw a 2010 (non-hennessy) hit 11.29 in the 1/4 mile....what's your fastest?

Is that the final design? No separation from the engine and heat? Seems like a poor idea having it right there as you will be sucking hot air from the engine bay. Other designs seem better

Again that is the V8 version, however that version does have a add-on option that comes with heat shield for added cost of course.

Just get a 4 inch exhaust pipe for a truck and work it into place. Get a filter from Amsoil that is similiar to the K&N except it will filter the dirt where the K&N lets it all in the motor. Run some hose to the filter for cold air. Of course it will not be as professional, but it will work great and cost a LOT less. Depending on how good you are it can look decent. I will be doing it to mine. i will send pictures when I get it done. It is called old fashioned Hot Rodding.
