No he is not, it does yellow. You just remvoe it and redo it. Garaged, it should last 5-6 years. Outside 3-5 years it starts to yellow. And I have used both Venture Shield and 3M, they both yellow. It is slight, but it does.

Depends on the film. The older 3M film was notorious for it. But the newer films will be fne if they are properly maintained. Do not use cheap wax on it... the wax will yellow over time and will cause the clear bra to look yellow. Zaino is excellent for the film. I also found an acrylic sealant that is outstanding.

I install ClearMask AR and have pulled it off of cars after 5 years to see how it has held up. No yellowing what so ever.

I have to try the ClearMask, would you rate that the best of the three big brands? I have heard good things.

Yes I would definately rate it the best. It is a great product and I have been using pretty extensively over the last 5 years. I do occasionally use VentureShield Ultra if I need film for full hoods and full fenders. Gte in touch with Jim at ClearMask.com and let him know I sent you. He will be happy to hook you up with some sample material.

I seen one on a silver C5 that was 2 years old and its was slightly yellow, and there where dirt particles in the front edges. dirt was from bad install i suppose, but discolor was the film.

change it 2x or paint it after 10 years. i say paint it again. same price as 2x install
