Extended Warrenty?

Hey guys, if you got the extended warrenty, just post what the coverage is and what you paid. I paid 2700 for 6/100,000 KM just wondering what other people paid and what coverage they got. Im in limbo of cancelling my warrenty, get basically all of it back.
So please let me know, and if you have real comments or your thoughts oin the extended warrenty, feel free to post.
P.S i was not in the room, as i was escorted out after sitting in the office nitpicking the bill of sale. For those who dont know, my car was a form of motivation since the age of 3 to do well in school and to strive to get a well respected career. It worked and hence i got my car (gift).
So my poor parents were basically ripped off as i feel and i have many ways to make my dealer know just how frustrated i am. But before doing soo, i wanted to get some more info on what others paid and the coverage they got.
My Girlfriend has family who are on the radio, connections to the newspaper and i think you guys know where this is going....

With my extended Warranty I have nothing to pay if anything breaks. The normal Warranty only covers engine & power train.

I guess it all depends on you. I went with the warr on the car (3yr bumper and 5yr powertrain). I do not plan to drive the car in the winter so I will only be putting approx 15000km per year. I do not care for aftermarker warr as sometimes they go out of business or bankrupt but then again, you have to look at what GM is going thru. I have had good success without buying ext warr so as I said, I just stayed with what is now on my car.

Do not buy any thing if it is not GMPP. That was offered to me for $2000 and I turned it down.

TJ91, that price doesn't sound out of line especially for GMPP but beware, some dealers offer extended warranty that is not GMPP and then they don't pay for claims. Find out if you have to pay a deductible or not. That makes a difference too as far as cost.

Offered extended.....................I took 6 year 120,000. But I will take it back on delivery. Extended warranty is a joke. The car comes with a warrenty for 3 years anyway. any problems will happen in that time and any really bad problems ........they will recall regardless of the years gone bye!!!!!!!!!!!! I want my $2500 back lol. I'm just playin' wit them!!!!!!!!!!

You can purchase the extended warranty at anytime during the 3 years of the warranty it already comes with.

I would wait till 2 months before it expires then go in and get it, no sense putting out more cash if you dont have to.

They quoted me just shy of $2000 in squamish at the GM dealer.

Yup. no extended warranty for me, I'll save my money. Like Arctic Wolf said, we will see in 2 years 10 months.
