Thank you too. My car is pretty much "stock" according to callaway, lol. I am getting a lot done in the next 3 weeks though. I can't wait. That would be awesome to see your car in person. I am pretty sure, If I see it, I will know who's car that is. Looking forward to this summer and hopefully bumping in to you along the way.

Getting some work done on engine bay dress. Red CAI couplers, ShowStopper accessories, painted the Whipple shaft cover letters, and added some matte edge trim to the inside fender edges. Topped of with polished billet caps with logos.

Have my 1LE strut tower brace out for paint right now in Victory Red finish and then the Livernois logo in matte black on top.

Still wondering if I should do the throttle body in matte black or Victory Red. Your thoughts??

Exciting day for the Scorpion Build!!!

Next big round of changes in final preparations and off to paint!!

They include:

ACS Custom Hood Liner for the T-10 Window Hood Insert in Matte Black
ACS Rear Functional Quarter Ports in Matte Black
ACS T-3/S Front Bumper Ports in Matte Black w/3 Eagle LEDs Verticle per side as DRL's

My Strut tower brace and throttle body both in Victory Red should be done at the same time!!

Note that I don't think ACS was ready to ship the rear ports yet to those waiting but they were very supportive in getting me the two external pieces so I could paint this stuff in bulk at a better price. They have just been awesome to work with and I am so pleased with all the workmanship and support!!!

Man this car is coming together great! I'm going to have to make the trip down south to some Mid Michigan car shows and look you up, I would love to see it in person.

Been a couple weeks since I updated. The ACS hood liner came back from paint in matte black and the strut tower brace and throttle body in Victory Red. Also changed all the hardware to stainless.

Next up is my headlights from AAC. Had Bi Xenon HID retrofits done with the housings in matte black with Colorshift halos installed. While the front is off I will install the heritage grill with the custom badge as well as the ACS T3/S ports with LEDs.

My interior is also all out with Lupe at River City Customes getting treated with black and Victory Red paint.

Lots of pics to come once I get her cleaned up. I finished up the last of the mods I stacked up over the winter finally. Here is the finished front end. Changes included a heritage grill in Victory Red with custom Scorpion Emblem. ACS T3/S ports in matte black with Eagle LED pods in each, and headlights with bi-xenon HID retrofits also in matte black with AAC ColorShift Halos.

Finished the interior as well that Lupe did for me. Pics of that tomorrow.

Well the car is finally all back together and my stack of saved up mods from winter are done. I am waiting on some Lloyd's mats and some detailing supplies to give it a massive cleanup and show car prepping. Thanks to Lupe for painting all the interior pieces!

Been awhile since my last post due to business and other projects. Got time for a car show today. 450 entries and I took one of the two top spots. Mine was for best of show custom car while the other was for the same but all original. There were about 80 other small trophys for first, second, third in numerous classes. Great day and very proud of how the car showed.

Had more than a couple negative comments from the old schoolers who think just because my car is newer it took less money, time, and passion to make it what it has become. I just showed one the trophy and asked what he got. Lol

Been awhile since my last posts so thought I would provide some updates.

First I removed the reverse hood setup. In the end as cool as it was it was very restrictive to both viewing and cleaning the engine bay which is a focus area for me.

Second I continue to have clearance issues in two spots between the hard ACS hood liner and two areas under the hood. The worst being the intercooler res cap. After several tries at eliminating the issues I finally pulled the trigger on a COPO hood from Eric over at MPD. Should be here next month. Still have to decide on paint as I'm torn between the look of matte and the shine and blemish free aspect of a quality black glossy finish. I need to pull the modified OEM hood and get it up for sale. I'm sure it will sell easily.

Lastly I removed the CBM engine covers. Had clearance issues with those as well on the passenger side. I went with Rotofab covers in Victory Red and intend on having them airbrushed over the winter when the inside of the hood is done as well.

Engine...working again with Andy over at Livernois on winter work. I feel at my current levels the stock bottom end won't last forever. Going to go with a pro series forged bottom end 419 stroker. Adding meth and a pulley change to get 850 or 900 at the wheels in a high quality setup. Pulling the tranny for upgrades as well as a diff swap. More details to come.

Damn! You just don't stop, do you? Lol. Your car was badass a while back and it keeps getting better. Congratulations. What a difference on the way your car pulled on the dyno before and after. How long until you change your mind again and change it to twin turbo? Illl give you less then a year. Lol. I was hoping to bump into you over the summer but maybe next year

That's unbelievable. I have 610 to the wheels and that's pretty fast. I ran into a GTR ALPHA 9 over the summer and saw what 1150 hp can do. You are one lucky guy.

Well I THINK I've decided to go a different route. In the end and thinking long term I have always wanted a 1000rwhp street/show car. It's always been a dream. Given the investment I feel like with a little bit more money I can go to another level and get some tremendous long term value out of the engine build. So...here is what I'm working on with Livernois:

RHS LS based standard deck Race Block setup as 429 Stroker with fully forged bottom end. Manly crank and rods, Diamond/Ross pistons, coated bearings, LXS-LS9 stage 2 heads, melling oil pump, billet timing chain, titanium valve spring retainers, etc, etc. Also setup for 100-150 shot of nitrous.

Alky Meth injection with trunk mounted tank.

ID850 injectors

10 rib pulley kit incl ATI 10 rib 14% OD balancer

RPM Level 7 built TR6060 Tranny

RPS Carbon Billet Triple Disc Clutch

ZL-1 Diff (I won't be racing it so Livernois feels this is best choice for the needed strength without the maintenance issues of a conversion)

DSS Carbon Fiber Drive Shaft

Complete Nitrous setup (100-150 shot)

This without the nitrous should come in under 1000 hp with a great driving street car and with the gas exceed 1000rwhp....
