Already expecting that....

I might have opened Pandoras Box. I intentionally went VERY simple with it but this will likely foster some insane "3D vinyls"

Think a just created a new trend. LOL

3D vinyls FTW!

The could have done it quite a bit cheaper just to rewrap....
but keep in mind they cut the lettering and installed(shop time); and I didnt use their vinyl that they then laminate...
I ordered high quality 3M vinyl and added an extra yard of material to ensure we had enough and for the lettering.

OTD it was $518.....for reasons not to be discussed I only paid $218.

Rather have some Nilla Wafers but it's all good.

SOMEONE will take this idea to another level...it's GONNA happen. No biggie.

I had SEVERAL other ideas that were more involved and some stood out a bit more BUT I wanted to largely maintain the 1LE OEM look as well as limit long term durability and low maintenance.

A cut out would have been cool but didnt want all the open corners that would peel up or get damaged when cleaning.

I have visions of doubling the lettering and keeping things symetrical but being that it was covered and black....the subtleness of it would allow it to not be "ricey"

It turned out well
