I think taking your idea & placing some 1LE vinyl stickers where most people put the 1LE emblems on the hood then re-wrapping the hood would look badass too. Something to think about when someone goes to re-wrap the hood.

Thanks above.

Dont forget the option have having anything printed as well. I could have used a lesser quality and had them print any image/logo/text that i wanted and then they laminate over it and wrap the hood..... I wanted the higher quality vinyl from 3M and the idea of the 3D wrap was just locked in my head to not try it.

Way cool idea.

At first, I thought you did all of the work yourself. And I could not help but be jealous of all of the free time you have.

Then when you mentioned a shop did it, I felt a little better. :-)

All i did was envision the final product, chase downthe "1LE" digital file, coordinate the install and give them VERY specific instructions.

When I first saw you add the lettering in the pics I thought it was going to be cheesy. But the subtle lettering under the wrap, that's pretty cool. Much respect.

Very cool! I am really digging the Satin and is making me think that has to be easier to maintain then the matte.

A little off topic but I found a spot for one of my 1LE badges that I removed from my hood:

I'm hoping myself as well. Car meet this weekend so I'll clean it up and see how it differs from the matte.
