anybody got pics of both does it make much differents

The halos are merely there for looks. They do not provide nearly enough light to be useful.

If you are asking about halogens (not halos), then there is definitely a difference. HID produces a brighter but cleaner light path. I love having them on my Camaro.

Agreed.

The Halos provide minimal road illumination. The HIDs are the best production lights in an car I've driven. Bright, even, better than conventional and fog lamps at the same time, and wayyyy out there. I've stated many times, I'd probably get the RS just for the headlamps.

Whats the lumens on the hids? I read somewhere its a 4500k?

id like to know this, i was hoping itll be at least a 8000k which is more whiteish/blueish like the bmws.

I doubt 8000K, they are looking whiter.

Thats def a 4500k hid

I would know what the lumens are, i believe those are 4500, i saw on 5thgen.org someone changed the hids to a 8000k and it looked pretty sweet.

That hopefully is not expressed in Lumens which is a measure of intensity. The values you see with the letter K following are what is called the "Temperature" or "Color Temperature" of the light, and that tells you what the color will be... blue/white/yellow,etc.
