The waiting sucks and seems to take forever ... I've done it with three Camaros since 09 and just ordered the Chevy SS that will take a really long time to get here. Good luck, it will be worth it.

The Fourth gen and the Fifth gen will be sitting right next to each other and someone will have to pry the keys from my cold dead hands. Love the fourth gen and hope to become as in love with the fifth gen.

Found out today that my order is currently scheduled for production #3300. Wonder what that means? Does anyone know?

Sorry was trying to edit and my iPad died.

Check out the Camaro ordering forum.

Becky with Rodgers Chevy is great to ask ? About status of your order.

Congrats on the order.
FYI some items which helped me during my delivery of my car.
Talked to service mgr to see which tech will work on the prep of my car and talking to the tech.
No dealership decals.
Need yellow spring spacers to be removed and retained.
Make sure dealership knows to fill car with high grade gas.
No front GM license plate mount, best to purchase your own after mark which doesn't require drilling into frt bumper.
Some dealers will give you a free 1st oil change.

Best of luck, be sure to post pics.

Thanks for the tips! I have posted a question for Becky regarding the status and the predicted production week. Pics will be everywhere as soon as I can get my hands on it.

Thanks to Becky D @ Rodgers Chevrolet I now have the VIN number ending in 1339. It is really real, I can hardly stand the wait. The status at the factory is 4B00 - Bayed. The dealer thinks it will be here in a couple of weeks, but I'm going to take that with a grain of salt because of the announcement the week of 11/18. But it is real and my dream is about to come true.

Good going on your order. It looks like we ordered around the same time (and looks like the same color.....mine was on 10/26). At first things were so quiet you could hear a pin drop (I had no order number, no vin, and the dealer would never return a phone call......typical courtesy). A few weeks passed and I finally cornered the sales manager, got my order number....and whala....things started moving at the speed of Mercury!!!!

So I'm waiting like you.....any day now....and the zl1s should land.

Glad to hear that. The 4th gens have a place in my heart. My mom had a 95 Z28 Vert and my brother had a 00 V6. I borrowed both extensively over the years. Really enjoyed driving them.

Congratulations on your order!!! I do not see any Camaro's around this neck of the woods in the BRM color - lots of Black, Orange, Red and Yellow and certainly very few ZL1's. As cold as it is getting here I would just as soon they not ship it yet - going to barely have day time highs in the 20 degree range - the Goodyear F1 tires do not handle the cold at all - so if mine stays at a status of Bayed for awhile it is not going to hurt my feelings, even though I can hardly wait to get my hands on it.

Good luck with yours. Are you planning on doing any mods?

I was a little concerned in how I was going to manage to drive it home if it arrived late or during a storm; Then when GM announced the production shutdown it made sense to me. I am in no special hurry for it to come per se, but I would like to get it in the garage before the snow.

Thanks for the good luck and I hope we won't have issues with our zl1s. Ehh I probably won't mod mine (I like my cars as is...right out of the box). Not modding has kept me out of trouble in the past......not that its a bad thing but it can get expensive. Just lots of wax and doing the trips in the warm weather for me!

Totally agreed. I might hold out on the ZL1 JUST so that I can get a slightly used '14 with the recaros.

that color hud is definetly a brownie point too
