Is a 10.XX 1/4 possible with a V6?
What do you guys think? I know we've had a few break into the 11s, one with nitrous and not many other mods. What if I took my mods and a few suspension mods, better tires? Possible?

Didn't Gretchen run a mid 11 pass even with blowing his engine? Id say its definitely possible, just how much $$$ you got.

I thought that was a 1/8 pass that was calculated to be a mid 11 run. I could be wrong.

It went 11.49 coasting through, went 7.0 1/8 mile, and with his mph it will go 10s. Easy.

A100 shot won't get you there. HDRS ran 11.8 with 125 shot, slicks, skinnies and some weight reduction. The next closest was a 12.0 with a similar setup. I think with gears, some suspension work and the right DA HDRS could break 11.5. I'm afraid you would need a 175-200 shot to get in the 10s.
Yeah, crossed the 1/8th mark at 102.x MPH and the logs show the engine grenaded at 103 MPH, so that was costing an 1/8th mile and still running 11.49 on a 1.87 60'. Next time it will be in the 10s. Hopefully if we can get the the throttle issue resolved...a 1.5x 60' should get me in the 10.5 range pretty easily!

Throw 250 or 300 at it and it'll get there.

I'll be happy getting an 11.XX. Without tearing the car apart to reduce weight. I'm trying for the 11.XX with OEM rims and full interior. It's a tough road to travel.

I agree. I'm not going to risk blowing my engine, I dont think id risk going more than a 120 in mine.

On a llt I wouldn't go more than 125 because of the lack of tuning options. On the lfx I wouldn't hesitate trying a 200 shot with the GPI fogger, dedicated fuel cell and a Rhino tune.

You don't need to tune anything but wot timing. remove timing, and add the appropriate fuel through jetting.
