My Car

Finally decided to try to start up a build thread of my car, let's give this a try. I have a Black 2011 2SS. Brought him home on 1/28/13. Say hello.

First thing I did was add some tint. 5% all the way around

Before:

After:

Next mod was some exhaust, had loved the sound of BORLA before I even got my car. Four days after taking home my car, I took it to the local shop(Cajun Muffler) to install my BORLA ATAK Catback system.

Always have loved the concept of black and red, so that's what I set out to do. PlastiDipped my rims and exhaust tips, and covered my "Camaro" lettering with reflective red, and blacked out my rear lights.

Next thing I wanted to do was add some interior and exterior lighting(red of course)

Then I installed some halos myself which were a pain in the a**. White/Red or pink if you put them together.

Had a little break in between my mods, so here are a few pictures while I was waiting

Friend of mines old truck

Next was a CAI from BBK Performance.

Before:

After:

Next I put on some red hood stripes and gills

A few more randoms, would need to do a professional photo shoot one day.

Mustangs know their place.

Next I put in some red interior accents.

Red fog lights

PlastiDipped my engine cover

Got 2 12" Q Powers instaled with a 1600w amp

Next I ordered some ZL1 Replica Rims and had them installed(must say, I personally love these rims)

More mods and pictures to come.

Looks great! Where did you get the new wheels? When I get home I want to get black wheels on mine. Everything else on my 2010 2SS is black except the wheels.

Installed Stainless Works headers with OffRoad pipe and a tune.

Slapped on some 305/35/20 Drag Radials

Will also put some sound clips whenever I figure out how to. Lol

Then out of nowhere, some b*tch pulls out in front of me and I had no time to stop. I was pissed.

A month later, I finally got him back home and he looks good as new! Even put a little Headturners sticker on the front.

PlastiDipped my mail slot insert just to see how I like it and what everyone thinks:

Been a while since I updated this. Installed a new spoiler.

Went ahead and dyed all my stitching red. Pretty easy and cheap thing to do.

Personally put 30,000 miles on my car. He's getting old :(

Random pic from the zoo a few weeks ago

Found a thread of people who've been installing quad tips so I went ahead and ordered me some 4" quad tips and a 1LE rear diffuser to install along with it.

Updated pic of the interior. A little dirty, but spray painted some more things. Thinking about eventually spraying around the shifter black

Much more to come.

Sorry for the delay, been so busy with work lately. After some deciding, I chose to go with NoWeeds. Wasn't bad of an install at all. Didn't have the privilege of using a lift, so I used jacks and jack stands to hold up my car. Didn't have to cut the pipe like in the instructions since I had aftermarket exhaust. Was able to just replace and clamp the pipe directly. Had a little setback since I went with the wireless option and wired it wrong at first, but when I actually got the correct instructions, was really simple. My car had a gain of 12rwhp/15rwtq just by opening the NoWeeds. Will also be posting some video soon when I remember how to.

Also installed a Vitesse Throttle Controller. If you don't have one of these, get one. You're missing out. Greatly increases throttle response. I keep mine on SP9 and I'm used to it now so it feels "normal" to me, but putting it back to stock really lags.

And just a random pic of my car

Hopefully in the next few months I'll be doing some more upgrades to my car. Cam, gears, stall, heads, and I'm sure some more cometic things as well. Also waiting for a personal plate to arrive I'll keep y'all posted.

I like what you've done with the ride. My only question is why is the car a he?

No clue lol. Just always seemed to me since I got the car that a he is more threatening and suiting to my car than a she. Also I have a personal plate coming in SSNYSTR. Just seems to fit a he.
