ICBC Basic Insurance for your 2010 Camaro

Hey, I just receive a bill from ICBC, they want to charge me $331 more.
Because at the time I bought my 2010 Camaro 1LT, the car was not in their system.
Now that they changed my collision rate group from 15 to 21 and comprehensive rate group from 15 to 20.

BASIC COVERAGE: TERRITORY D, RATE CLASS 021 Base: $1,337.
COLLISION RATE GROUP 21
COMPREHENSIVE RATE GROUP 20

I get 43% discount, but I still owe them $331.
seems pretty unfair.

How did ICBC or other insurance company rate your 2010 Camaro?
How much do your insurance cost yearly?

Ditto here at $1,200 / yr. Same/similar details to formulahawk. 34 yrs old. Is BC really that bad? And I thought we here in Ont got screwed (we do compared to Que)

ICBC has trouble matching private insurance.
Everyone has to get basic from ICBC .
Excess Third party liability, collision ,Comprehensive etc.. private or ICBC
ICBC cost for Basic on the LS or LT is $925 with a 43% discount already included.
$1605 for everything else from ICBC 43% discount already included.
Or $786 from Canadian Direct.
That is a $800 dollar savings.
We save $600 already on the wife's mustang.
It just doesn't hurt to shop around I am sure there is other insurance companies with savings also.

Ours went up $40 per month over a 9 year old Honda Accord coupe.

ALL with ICBC.
