You can see how the oil cooler mounts in the same location here with bolt #6 and gasket #3. It, and everything attached to it gets removed. I used a generic parts store upper hose

I wonder if 62nalide is running some gear or stock gear?

Seems like my MPH goes up a lot if I spin, which I know is usually the case for drag racing, but in some respects this would validate the value of running at least 3.70 gears I think right?

Thanks for sharing.

I ran my 18's at 15 and 16 psi yesterday. I liked them better at 16-17 from a handling standpoint FWIW.

Let's see what happens with fixing the oil cooler, but I might be done for the year local tracks might all be closing next weekend.

Anyone got any intake or exhaust valves for sale? I have a set of new bare heads, maybe I should start putting together heads/cam combo.

Dallas Raceway has been open into December the last 2 years and is scheduled to be this year also.
And they've been open in February each of the last 2 years.

Great! I did not know that. Just hope they prep their track better or else cold weather will be negated by bad 60ft times.

That tire diameter will actually give you some gear. I don't know exactly how much without doing the math but I would guess it would be like having 3.40 gears

Correct, IDK the correct gear either but close to the 3.40s. I did not want anything taller for that reason.
