Oh man I'm curious about this for sure. I'm hunting for 11's too, I think 18's and a stall might do it.

I don't think it was negative DA when I ran but I can check when I get home.

The oil cooler that is bolted to the side of the block was leaking at a corner maybe a seal but leaking too much to drive even for me.

Waiting for a tow am on side of highway

No sorry I was just about to leave actually and thought I would try again. I was never able to really flash the converter and leave hard. Like on this 12.06 pass, I foot-braked it to 1500 and rolled out. I might become a member of the slicks club next year.

I just removed the cooler. It's a terrible design, and dead weight.

I was thinking same about mph. When ya get a chance john get me a log preferably with a 3-4 with shift so I can see if it's off since we are locking earlier.

No headwind. Lock-up might be a spot off but the front half was strong, 12.06 and 7.72/90.5mph were all new bests. I did go 113.6 two outings ago won't be hard for us to figure out the happy medium.

Nspah, we thought about doing that at the track but it looked too complicated to do in the parking lot. I'd like to see pics on how you did that. I bet the COPO's don't have this setup.

Just use a solid upper rad hose and use the oil crossover piece from the f-body/vettes. the cooler bolts in the same location. its literally a 5 minute swap, two 10mm bolts and a rad hose

You can see how the oil cooler mounts in the same location here with bolt #6 and gasket #3. It, and everything attached to it gets removed. I used a generic parts store upper hose
