Car seat will not work in the middle. It has to be placed on the sides in the seats.

I take my 3 yr old son to and from daycare which is about 20 miles round trip. Has anyone put a carseat in the middle? Would it even work? I can picture his feet resting on the center console but he's used to seeing where we are going in my current vehicle.
I'll be going to a dealer this weekend to do a carseat test.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
No it wont work in the middle,I have two grand kids, and we put a blanket down before I let my son install the car seats as they will leave marks in the seats after a while, hope it helps...

Both my children love cars! Here is my 12 year old son rebuilding his first SBC for race car ( Grandfather's ). He did all the tear down and will do everything to rebuild it minus cam bearings. He begged for the last year to do this. He wants to build his first car and is already saving his $$ for it.

...look at that smile. He learned how to drive a stick that day on a ZL1..., I learned on a VW Bug. Oh what a happy day that was for both of us.

I just got stuck in the hospital yesterday due to what seems to be a bad heart valve, caused me to pass out...even passed out when the paramedics showed up to load me up...I think the first thing I am going to do when i get home is let my daughter learn to drive in my car funny how life changes things in a heart beat !!!
