Why won't my profile picture update?

Newbie question...

Why won't my profile picture update on posts? I've deleted the original and uploaded a new profile pic, but it won't appear on posts. It appears in the User CP.

TIA

Profile pictures don't appear in posts. They only appear when people are viewing your user profile. The photo that appears under your username in posts is your "Avatar".
