driving CAI in the rain???

Anything to worry about? How low is too low to mount it to worry about this? If I mount it behind the grill will I be fine as far as keeping water out? Will the filter help if some gets in there? What do you guys think is the best place to mount it?

There are a lot of different schools of thought on it. I personally would try to keep it up high somewhere--possibly in the engine bay with a heat shield. I'm not a fan of the Hennessy stlye, though the Vanaram is looking promising--kind like a fourthgen lid setup.

Hydrolock is a mofo.

are you running a custom CAI? or one from a manufacturer? unless you are driving in 2ft of water, you should not have a problem. the air intake is high enough off the ground. as far as rain water getting sucked into the motor, its not enough to do any damage.
